Microblading

WHAT IS MICROBLADING AND HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic treatment that fills in sparse eyebrows. The technique uses a handheld tool with needles to apply the pigment just below the epidermis and the most shallow part of the dermis, making extremely fine natural looking hair strokes. A very natural result is achieved, as the hairs are bladed into the skin according to the natural hair growth direction. A touch up is included 4-6 weeks after your initial treatment. Microblading last between 1 to 3 years. Depending on the skin type the color fades over time and yearly touch ups are recommended to maintain results.

HOW LONG IS THE PROCEDURE?

The full appointment lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. This allows enough time for paperwork, numbing, brow mapping as well as the actual treatment. I kindly ask that you do not bring anyone else to your appointment as this lengthens the process and goes against health and safety regulations. If you absolutely must, please consult with me first and I will do what I can to accommodate your request.

IS MICROBLADING PAINFUL?

The treatment can be a little unpleasant for those who are more sensitive. However there is an anesthetic applied before and during the procedure to keep pain to a minimum.

IS MICROBLADING SAFE?
